Tuesday, April 20

• FREE Kids Meals are continuing through the month of April at the Cleveland Chick Fil-A! Every Tuesday is Family Night at the Cleveland Chick-fil-A from 5-8 pm. They have something fun for the family each Tuesday night such as a craft, family movie, magician, clown, etc. Bring the family for dinner and fun! This Tues. April 20 they will be having a Sundae Bar! The Cleveland Chick-fil-A is offering free kids meals on Tuesday nights from 5-8 pm again for the month of April! (Limit 2 free kids meals per adult meal purchase, no other coupons or discounts allowed, *children must be present*.) Be on the lookout for cow appearances throughout the week at lunch and dinner. • If you consigned with the Ashley Lauren Closet Children’s Consignment Sale in Cleveland, don’t forget to pick up your check and unsold items between 10 am – 6 pm.

Thursday, April 22

• This is the 40th anniversary of Earth Day.  Be on the lookout for various companies offering freebies and deals.  A year or two ago Walgreens gave out free reusable bags while supplies lasted on Earth Day.  This year, Walgreens is offering $1 ink refills with the coupon found in their Sunday insert.  Pottery Barn Kids is giving away a plant to take home to kids from 11 am – 3 pm.  Check your local store for details.  Through May 15, 2010, you can get a free Earth Day t-shirt from Hanes by mail in rebate with the purchase of 3 Hanes products.  Do you know of any Earth Day freebies?

Friday thru Sunday, April 23, 24, and 25

• Ticket are on sale for Day Out with Thomas at the TN Valley Railroad Museum April 23, 24, 25 and May 1 and 2, 2010. For those of you with little Thomas the Train fans in your household, you will love this fun-filled day like we do! Tickets are $14-$18. You can get a $2 discount on Friday tickets by using code FRIDAY2.

• *NEW* (Thanks, Mrs. Kvale for emailing me this info) 4th FridayFamily Fun Night at Science Theatre is happening Friday, April 23!  Come out for an evening of fun family activities at the Science Theatre inside Northgate Mall. The fun begins at 6:30 p.m. and ends at 8:30 pm.  4FFFN is FREE this month! This will be the final one at this location because Science Theatre is moving to the downtown Creative Discovery Museum! • *NEW* (Thanks, Beth for emailing me this info)  The Athens Chamber of Commerce presents a concert by Phillips, Craig, and Dean at Athens Jr. High School Friday, April 23 at 7 pm.  Tickets are $7 in advance.  Call the Athens Chamber at 423.745.0334.

Saturday, April 24

• The Cleveland Chick-fil-A cow will be at the Children’s Book Release at Books a Million in the Target Shopping Center from 10 am – 1 pm.
• Nationwide: Lowe’s Free Grow and Build Clinic 10 am – make a bird feeder. Click here for a picture and more details and to RSVP.
• Nationwide: The Knack Free Family Puffy Clay Event (Mother’s Day magnet) at Michael’s craft store  from 10 am – 1 pm while supplies last.  Click here for a picture and more info.
• MainStreet Cruise-In (antique car show) is the 4th Saturday of every month from 3 – 9 pm April through October around the courthouse square in downtown Cleveland.  The event averages over 500 cars on display.  No entry fee to exhibit or attend!  On April 24, the MainStreet Cruisers present the “Rockin’ Down the Highway” Cruise-In featuring The Beaters on the event stage.  Blood drive at the event.  Door prize for the first 250 vehicles, event t-shirts, swap meet, 50/50 drawing and model car contest.
