I would like to try an unusual color or a short cut… I have never been too daring with my hair…

I colored my hair bright sunshine yellow…on accident, but it was funny enough to leave for a couple of days. It brought happiness, or at least, laughter to a few close friends

To show my “school spirit” in high school, I braided my hair in tiny braids and dyed it half blue & half white. Unfortunately, the principal of my Christian high school did not share the same love of my school spirit expression…lol.

In college I was trying to dye my hair a nice burgundy color…unfortunately due to the highlights in my hair the box of color I used turned my hair a crayon color of red…also unfortunately they couldn’t fix it for 2 weeks due to the chemicals so I had to live with it that way for awhile!

I have had my hair colored pink and black.

I’d love to find something cute to do with my hair. I’ve had the same look pretty much all of my life, LOL.

In college we decided to do an at home highlight kit….mine turned out orangy red and I had to go to two visits at a professional to get it somewhat fixed!

When I was in high school, I thought that it would be a good idea to color my hair. So for some reason, I choose to dye my brown hair blonde, but only the top half of my hair. So the top half was a pretty blonde color and the bottom half of my hair was brown. It was my picture on my drivers license for a long time, constantly reminding me what a terrible look that was!

I generally cut my own hair – I have super-curly hair that too-often gets underestimated by salons and I end up with it either way too short or some sort of poodle cut
For once I’d like to be able to go to a salon and come out looking good.

I am 43 and have kept a perm in my hair since 5th Grade, getting about 2 a year. My first perm in 5th grade was given by my mom, and I thought I looked like “George Washington”! I cried, but have been loyal to the perm all these years!

When I was in high school I wanted plum/purple hair. At that time we couldn’t find a do-it yourself shade I liked, so I used a fun and frugal tip I read in a magazine – color it with unsweetened KOOLAID. I came up a concoction of colors I liked – black cherry, grape and fruit punch. After my morning shower, I would place a large plastic bowl in the kitchen sink and pour the mixture and soak my hair in the bowl. I kept the mixture in a Mason jar in the fridge to reuse each morning. It worked great, and the color stayed!

I had once bleached my naturally dark hair blonde then decided to turn it back dark, however it ended up green. Thankfully I had only used temporary color so I had to wash my hair several times that night but was able to finally get the green out… I have naturally very curly hair and would love to go to someone who knows how to deal with it!

I had almost waist length thick hair for a couple years and last summer i decided it was time for a change since i was going to be in college in the fall, so i got it cut just above my shoulders and dyed the under side of my hair a hot hot hot pink
along with a big strip in the front

My hair has been every color you can think of. My favorite was when I tried to color it strawberry blonde and it turned out hot pink. It was that way when I met my husband for the first time!

I had never did anything spatulair with my hair, all thats been done is colored and cut, I did cut it short one time, but to my suprise I loved it. Now that I have two kids its hard to find the time/money to get it done. I would love a hair cut.

I’ve had some really bad perms many many years ago…poodle bangs!! lol

Straightened my hair for years growing up because my mom did not know what to do with curly hair.

I colored my hair purple in high school. I did not intend to color it purple but I liked it so much I kept it that color for a while!

I shaved it all off! Due to chemotherapy of course. It’s growing back and I am having trouble managing any kind of style to it. It’s got a lot of body but I want it to grow it out. I never have liked it short.

In high school I wanted my hair blonde, instead of drab brown, so I put hydrogen peroxide on it straight from the bottle. Needless to say it turned out orange (like Bozo) and my mom made the salon fix it back drab brown!

All throughout highschool I took care of my grandmother and she absolutely loved short blonde hair; I have dark brown hair and like wearing my ponytails! Well she hated it so off to the salon I went. In her days the only way to frost your hair was to cap highlight it-so it happened. She had her stylist color and cut it. She didnt quite know how to pull blonde from dark dark hair and cut curly hair to shape a round face. Long story short I had a spotted orange mullet for a good portion of my high school years–but my grandmother loved it and it was all for her.

I just never know what to do with my hair:-) I’m a little clueless, so I’m always looking for help….of course, I’d love a wardrobe makeover and expert advice too! But hey? a haircut would be grrrrrreat! Mom of two looking for a new ‘do!

I would love to update this “hair-do” with somehthing that is stylish and easy. Being a full-time working mom with 2 kids, I rarely have time for my own hair, so it needs to be able to fixed quick!

I was crazy with my hair in high school. My bedroom was in the basement and my mom never knew what color hair I would have when I came up for school in the mornings. I’m naturally medium blonde. I’ve gone, light blonde, brown, deep red, light red, pink, blue, purple, and green. I also liked to do highlights of pink or blue when my hair was blonde. There may be a few more colors in there too that I’m forgetting. Also my senior year I had hair halfway down my back and I got it cut just about ear length one day.
Now it’s just plain medium blond, but I’m looking at some of these wild colored highlights and trying to decide if I could pull it off.

i will never forget the time i cut my hair chin length and got a perm all in the same day. i was about 9 or 10. when i finally saw the finished look, i was shirley temple’s twin!

I went into the salon with long brown hair and left with a chin length platinum bob. It was crazy but I loved it!
