It’s back – the limited-time 80% off sale at Restaurant.com! I love when they have these sales! Makes for a nice date night or an inexpensive gift for someone. You can purchase a $25 gift certificate for only $2 and a $10 gift certificate for only $.80!!! Just use code MEAL by April 30, 2010 (while supplies last) when you check out at Restaurant.com to get the 80% discount off their already-reduced prices! Be sure to read the fine print. Each restaurant has different restrictions, for example a $25 gift certificate may say “minimum purchase $35.” Still sounds like a good deal to me if you pay $2 to save $25 off $35. You can select from participating restaurants all over the country. Below are the ones in the Cleveland/Chattanooga area on the list. Go to Restaurant.com to browse or make a purchase. The Melting Pot ones for Chattanooga usually sell out fast, so don’t delay!
I have heard from some of you who have had great experiences with purchasing and using Restaurant.com gift certificates. I have bought some but have not used them yet, so I can’t share with you yet my experience. If you’re skeptical like me you probably think it’s too good to be true. I verified myself that Restaurant.com is accredited by the Better Business Bureau and has an A+ rating. Click here to see. Consider the gift certificates more like coupons – $10 off or $25 off a minimum purchase and it sounds more reasonable.

We have used several of these and have never had a problem. My parents live out of town, and one of the places we love to eat breakfast at participates with Restaraunt.com so we got a bunch to use when we visit. A family of 6 eats for $10-$15! Its wonderful!!
