I found these reusable bags at Kohl’s last night for 60% off, making them only $.79/ea! They have others for sale for $1.99 in the front of the store, but I found the clearance ones in the very back of the store on a display near the customer service desk. I love reusable bags…if only I could remember to bring them with me every time I shop!
Speaking of reusable bags, thanks Sharon for this email tip: Bi-Lo will give you a credit of $.05 per Bi-Lo reusable bag when you check out under two conditions: you must ask for the credit and they will only apply the credit for Bi-Lo brand reusable bags. (This was at the Ocoee Crossing Bi-Lo in Cleveland. Not sure if it applies to other Bi-Lo’s as well.) Also, Target has signs at registers that they will give you a $.05 credit as well at checkout when you bring your own reusable bags. I’m not sure if it must be a Target bag – does anyone know? Keep in mind, you are certainly welcome to bring any brand reusable bag into any store. I do. I’ve collected a variety of free reusable bags from different stores when they’ve had promotions.

OH – and don’t forget that CVS has their “bagtags” that will get you a $1 ECB every four scans (once per visit, when you use your CVS card) you can use it any time you use a reusable bag (or any bag, for that matter, as long as you don’t take a bag from them – it could be a reusable bag from target, cvs, bi-lo, etc…it could able be a plastic bag from walmart – you could carry your items out in your arms – just as long as you don’t take a bag from them at checkout!)

Thanks, Hannah. I also got an email from Daniel saying that he got the $.05 credit at Target today on non-Target reusable bags. And yes, I forgot to mention the CVS reusable bag and bagtag. And Devon emailed that Bi-Lo has given her a $.05 credit on non-Bi-Lo reusable bags.
