  • The Museum Center at 5ive Points in downtown Cleveland is hosting an Appalachian Artisans’ Holiday Open House Friday November 13 from noon to 5:00 and Saturday November 14 from 10:00 – 3:00. The event is a chance for people to get a head start on their holiday shopping. Twenty-four vendors who sell in the Museum Store will be on hand with additional items to sell to the public.   • Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church on N Ocoee St in Cleveland is hosting the Made in Cleveland Craft Fair this weekend. It’s Friday the 13th and Saturday the 14th from 9 till 2 each day.  The show will have over 25 booths with lots of different crafts as well as a bake and plant sale, a country store, and some other fun stuff.  (Thanks, Aimee)
  • The Embassy will hold their monthly couples night out on Friday, November 13, 2009 from 7-9 pm at the Administration building of Lee University, located on Ocoee street. They will have dinner, a guest speaker, and optional ballroom dance lessons. This event is free. Donations are welcome and those received this month and next month will go to support House of Mercy, an orphanage in Nairobi Kenya that has recently flooded.
