Tuesday, Nov. 10
- Every Tuesday is Family Night at the Cleveland Chick-fil-A from 5-8 pm. They have something fun for the family each Tuesday night such as a craft, family movie, magician, clown, etc. Bring the family for dinner and fun! This Tues. Nov. 10, Pokey Dot the Clown will be there! Also, purchase a 2010 Chick-fil-A calendar for $8. There are lots of coupons for free food inside, with no purchase necessary!
Friday, Nov. 13
- The Museum Center at 5ive Points in downtown Cleveland is hosting an Appalachian Artisans’ Holiday Open House Friday November 13 from noon to 5:00 and Saturday November 14 from 10:00 – 3:00. The event is a chance for people to get a head start on their holiday shopping. Twenty-four vendors who sell in the Museum Store will be on hand with additional items to sell to the public. - The Embassy will hold their monthly couples night out on Friday, November 13, 2009 from 7-9 pm at the Administration building of Lee University, located on Ocoee street. They will have dinner, a guest speaker, and optional ballroom dance lessons. This event is free. Donations are welcome and those received this month and next month will go to support House of Mercy, an orphanage in Nairobi Kenya that has recently flooded. - It’s the 4th Annual Holiday Open House at First Christian Church in Cleveland from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm. The church is located at 3925 N Ocoee St, in between First United Methodist Church and Ocoee Crossing/Blythe Ave. Purchase or order gifts for your holiday giving. Light Refreshments and door prizes! The following vendors will be on hand: Pat’s Lye Soap, Pampered Chef, Arbonne International, Avon, Gold Canyon Candles, Thirty-One, Creative Memories, Mary Kay, Home Decor Direct, Rada Knives, My Piggy Tails, and pottery and baked goods, too.
