Publix Trip Nov 22 – 61% Savings

It’s been a while since I’ve posted one of my trips, so here you go! I went to Publix today and spent $29.57 for everything above and I saved $45.68, which is about 61% savings. I messed up, though. I didn’t realize til I got home that the Knorr Sides Plus were not BOGO. (Buy One Get One Free) I thought I was getting them for $.34 each after coupons like the other Knorr Pasta Sides, but I ended up paying full price for them at $2.29/ea – not a good deal at all for that. I don’t have time to type out all the details for this trip of each item’s cost and the coupons used, but you can find most everything I purchased on this post from Southern Savers. These sale prices end Wednesday, Nov. 25 (normally their sales end on a Tuesday, but it’s different this week with the Thanksgiving holiday.) A few highlights of final prices after BOGO price and coupons:
- FREE: Idahoan instant potatoes; Fresh Gourmet salad toppings; Muir Glen organic tomato sauce (I got $1 printable coupons from Money Saving Mom’s post here Oct. 21); and Bob Evans Home Fries (this was a rain check so you can’t get this on sale this week)
- Craisins 14¢/ea
- Publix American cheese 1¢ (Mystery Penny Item)
- Bird’s Eye Steamfresh Lightly Sauced frozen veggies 19¢/ea
- Vanity Fair 100 napkins 9¢
- Snapple – 25¢ per bottle after $1 coupon I found in my coupon box, but Southern Savers didn’t have listed, so I’m not sure where I got that coupon.
