Museum Center at 5ive Points To Host Fourth Annual Pumpkin Carving Contest

CLEVELAND, TN: The Museum Center at 5ive Points will host its fourth annual Pumpkin Carving Contest. This judged contest is sponsored each year by Guthrie Pumpkin Farm and Corn Maze. Those wishing to enter the contest should have their carved pumpkins to the Museum October 29 or 30 between 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Three prizes will be awarded and winners will receive $100, $50, and $25 for first, second, and third place.
The pumpkins will be on display at the Museum during the Tall Betsy Storytelling Night on Saturday October 31st from 5:00 – 9:00 p.m.

The Museum Center at 5ive Points preserves and interprets the history and culture of the Ocoee District of Southeast Tennessee. The museum hosts exhibits and education programs. The Museum’s gift shop sells Appalachian arts and crafts from the region. Hours are Tuesday-Friday, 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Saturday 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. The museum is closed Sunday, Monday & holidays. Admission is $5 for adults, $4 for seniors and students, and free for children under 5. The museum is free the first Saturday of each month. Groups of 12 or more are $4 each.
