Habitat for Humanity ReStore

On an ordinary Friday, perhaps a weekday off work that you use as “errand day,” you stumble on something extraordinary. The old Cinema 1 & 2, a regular hangout during old college days for local Cleveland folks, has had a makeover. Gone are the nasty green seats and broken ceiling tiles. Now the building boasts bright blue and green trim, all shiny and inviting, as it is now home to the Habitat for Humanity ReStore.

If you’re looking to redecorate or remodel, and “budget” is the main theme you’re working with, look no further than the ReStore. New items, like rolls of stretchy Scotch tape, screen doors and accessories for the Rubbermaid Deck Box can be found at the ReStore. “New-to-you” items including furniture, books, and holiday décor are on display all at amazing bargain prices. Not only is it a great deal for you, it’s a great deal for Habitat for Humanity who uses the money raised by the ReStore to build homes for families in Cleveland. We think that location is going to be a regular hangout, once again!

The new Habitat ReStore will be having a Grand Opening on Wednesday, October 7th with giveaways, free food and a good time – not to mention the shopping.  And if decluttering is your mission of the moment, they’re always taking donations, which are tax deductable!

Come stop by at 300 Grove Avenue in Cleveland, the former Cinema 1 & 2 location. For more information, call the ReStore at 423-473-4610 or visit http://restore.habitatofcleveland.org/.  Hours of operation are Tuesday-Friday 9AM-5PM and Saturday 10AM-2PM.
