Here are a couple more upcoming events that didn’t get included yesterday:

• The Battle of the Bands is Thursday, Oct. 22 at 7 pm at the Dixon Center at Lee University in Cleveland.  Tickets are $5 and proceeds go to the Alzheimer’s Association.  There will be 7 local high school bands competing, local celebrity judges, door prizes and giveaways.  One person will win a Beetles Rock Band Premium edition at the end of the night.  Tickets are available at the Lee University box office.
• BECU Member Appreciation Day: Thursday Oct. 22nd.  All members are invited to any BECU branch to enjoy: Coffee & Donuts in the morning, Hot Dogs & Fixins all afternoon, Free gifts for every member who attends, Door prize drawings for up to $100 cash.  If you’re not a member of BECU, Member Appreciation Day is the perfect day to join!  Enjoy a hot dog while you open your account.  Anyone who lives, works, or goes to school in the five counties of Bradley, McMinn, Meigs, Monroe, and Polk is eligible to join.  BECU has a branch in Cleveland, Athens, and Calhoun, TN.  Click here for locations.
