Here’s a look at events for this week in the Cleveland/Chattanooga area:

*The Jack & Jill Children’s Consignment Sale is open to the public Tuesday-Friday, Sept. 8-11 from 10 am – 7 pm.  Sat. Sept. 12th is half-price day from 10 am – 6 pm.  They are located in Chattanooga at Lee Hwy & Hwy 153 beside Sportsman’s Warehouse in the old Home Depot location.  The Jack & Jill Sale supports FunandFrugal.com!*

Tuesday, Sept. 8

• It’s Family Night at the Cleveland Chick-fil-A!  Pokey Dot the Clown will be there from 5-8 and remember for the month of September, you can get a free kids 4-pack meal with purchase of an adult meal on Tuesday nights from 5-8 pm at the Cleveland Chick-fil-A.  (Limit 2 free kids meals per adult meal purchase.  May not be combined with any other coupon or discount.)

Thursday, Sept. 10

• It’s the 2nd Thursday of the month, which means Free Admission Night at the Creative Discovery Museum from 5:30-8:00 pm!
• There is an outdoor Farmer’s Market every Thursday evening from 4-7 pm at the Museum Center at 5ive Points in Cleveland.  This unique downtown Farmers Market is a perfect opportunity to get the area’s freshest local fruits and vegetables.  Local artists and craftsmen will be selling their unique creations.  And there’s entertainment, too!  Rain or shine.  You may also have an opportunity to guess the weight and win a watermelon over 80 lbs!  For questions or directions, visit the Museum’s website at museumcenter.org or call 423.339.5745.
• It’s Kids Night at the Cleveland Moe’s Southwest Grill!  Every Thursday night is Kid’s Night.  Kids get a free meal with purchase of an adult meal.  Giggles the Clown is there on Thursday nights making balloon animals and doing face-painting for the kids!

Friday, Sept. 11

• The Mascara Tour will be performing in Chattanooga at The MudPie at 11:30 am and The North Chatt Cat at 8:00 pm.  The Mascara Tour is made up of four female artists from Nashville, including one of my best friends, Morgan (Harris) Bracy, formerly of Cleveland.  Click here and here for more info!
• Night Fall is a free concert series at Miller Plaza in downtown Chattanooga every Friday night from May 22 – Sept 25 beginning at 7 pm.  Click here for more info.

Saturday, Sept. 12

• Third Annual Parking Lot and BBQ Sale at Clingan Ridge Baptist Church in Cleveland from 8:00 am – 2:00 pm.  Proceeds benefit the Children’s Ministry.  Rent a space to sell yard sale items, crafts, furniture, etc. or donated items accepted.  Parking spaces are $10/ea and tables are $5/ea for vendors.  Buy lunch: smoked bar-b-que, smoked chicken, and hot dogs – sandwiches or by the pound.  For more details call Kelly Lewis at 645-1022.

Sunday, Sept. 13

• The Chattanooga Market is open every Sunday from 11-4 with free admission through 12/7/09.  They have local produce, crafters, vendors, musical entertainment, and a different theme each week.  Visit chattanoogamarket.com for more info.  This Sunday, Sept. 13 enjoy entertainment from acoustic writer/performer, Jefferson Fox.
