Sorry, it’s been a while since I’ve posted one of my shopping trips.  Here’s what I got for free or cheap at Bi-Lo tonight with coupons:

Remember, Bi-Lo’s ads run Wednesday thru Tuesday.  If you go to buy something and they are out of stock, don’t forget to ask for a rain check.  You do not have to buy 2 of a Buy-One-Get-One-Free (BOGO) deal.  Each item will ring up half-price.  Bi-Lo doubles coupons up to $.60, however the Cleveland area Bi-Lo’s are now manually overriding coupons to not double that say “Do Not Double” on them.  Also, I verified with a manager at the Ocoee Crossing Bi-Lo tonight, that the Ocoee Crossing store limits 3 competitor coupons per customer per day.  Don’t fret, though.  There’s still good deals to be had, such as the things I bought tonight.  None of the coupons said, “do not double” and I didn’t use any competitor coupons and everything was free or next to nothing after coupons.

• Carpet Fresh no vacuum carpet & room odor eliminator, BOGO at $3.52 less $1.50 printable coupon = $.26/ea.  I thought this would be free since the price was reported to be $2.65 on Southern Savers, but prices apparently vary by region as I have seen happen on other items before.
• Angel Soft 4 regular rolls on sale $.98 less $.50 coupon from 9/13 Red Plum insert (coupon doubles to $1) = FREE.  OK, I just re-read the post and comments on Southern Savers about the Angel Soft and I may have made a mistake.  I thought my coupon was for a 4-pack or larger, but now I can’t remember for sure.  I hope I didn’t use an incorrect coupon.  I had a restless 2-year-old with me and was just trying to get out of the store towards the end of my trip.  Please check your coupons to make sure you are using it for an correct-sized product.
• Sun Crystals 50 count (new natural sugar alternative) BOGO at $3.49 less $1.50 printable coupon = $.25/ea.  Southern Savers reports there was a $2 coupon in the 9/20 Red Plum insert.
• Breyer’s yogurt on sale $.50/ea less $1/2 printable coupon from coupons.com (print limit reached) = FREE
• Peanut M&M’s and Twix $.79/ea less free coupons by mail from Mars Free Chocolate Friday = FREE
