Fun and Frugal

Beginning Saturday, Sept. 19 through Saturday Sept. 25, the Y is offering a free week for anyone age 18 or over. Those under 18, must be accompanied by a guardian. The goal is to get as many people as possible to take an extra 2,000 steps a day and eat 100 fewer calories a day. This is a national YMCA program designed to highlight the need to be more active. In addition, the Cleveland Family YMCA and other YMCA’s in the Chattanooga Metro area will waive the joining fee for anyone who wants to join during this promotion.
