Fun and Frugal

The Creative Discovery Museum’s Science Theatre hosts Family Fun Night the fourth Friday of every month.  The theme July 24 is Water Ways.  The fun begins at 6:30 p.m. and ends at 8:30 pm.  Cost is $9 per child over age 4 and $7 for Creative Discovery Museum members.  (Members remember to bring your card for the discount).  Parents are admitted free.  Call (423) 875-8522 to reserve your spot for this great night of family fun.  The Science Theatre is located in the back of North Gate Mall in Hixson, TN.

Also, several of you have sent me email reminders this summer that The Chattanooga Zoo offers $1 admission all day on Wednesdays!  I knew I had mentioned it before, but I didn’t realize it was in this post almost a year ago, so most of you probably didn’t see it.    Don’t forget to take your old phone book to recycle when you go and they’ll give you a coupon book for $2 off admission at several Chattanooga attractions!
