Wal-Mart and Publix Trips Feb. 27 & 28

It’s getting late so I will post the details to my shopping trips tomorrow, but here is some pictures to show you what all I got.
Pictured above: Wal-Mart trip 2-27-09. Total before coupons was $30.57. After coupons, I paid $8.52. I saved about 72%. Most of my Wal-Mart deal match-ups were found here at Money Saving Mom and here from The Centsible Sawyer.
- (2) Suave Lotion 3 oz, not travel size-$.97 less $1.00 coupon from recent Sunday paper insert = FREE plus $.03 overage/each!
- (2) Kotex Light Days pads 14 count-$1.00 less $1.00 coupon from recent insert= FREE
- (2) Head & Shoulders travel-sized shampoo-$.97 less $1.00 coupon from recent insert = FREE
- (1) Freschetta frozen pizza-on sale for $5.00 less coupon for free Freschetta frozen pizza = FREE. I got this coupon from calling customer service a while back when we bought a Freschetta pizza that turned out to be poor quality. They mailed me two coupons for free pizzas. It never hurts to call customer service if you’re unhappy with a product.
- (2) Rayovac 6-pack AA and AAA batteries-$3.00 less printable coupon for $1.00 off any Rayovac alkaline batteries = $2.00/ea. These coupons expired 2-28-09.
- (2) Yoplait Yo Plus yogurt 4-packs-$2.23 less $1.00 coupon from recent insert = $1.23/ea. There is also a $1.50 off printable coupon here, but I had already used mine previously. (Hit your back/refresh button to print twice. If you have trouble, try changing your browser from Internet Explorer to Firefox or vice versa.)
- (4) Starkist tuna pouches-$.98 less $1.00 from Vocalpoint mailer = FREE plus $.02 overage/ea! If you’re not on Vocalpoint’s mailing list, click here to sign up and you’ll get great coupons in the mail, too.
- (2) Huggies 16 count travel wipes (found in travel section)-$.97 less $1.00 coupon = FREE plus $.03 overage each! I got these coupons in the mail from Huggies. I called their customer service after receiving an expired Huggies coupon in the mail recently. I asked if they could send me another coupon that wasn’t expired and they sent me two coupons for $1.00 off any Huggies product.
Pictured above: Publix trip 2-28-09. I spent $13.10 and saved $27.91. I saved about 68%. Not my best Publix trip. I had planned on using some Target competitor coupons, but found out the Ooltewah Publix does not accept them.
- (1) Publix Greenwise organic milk 1 gallon-$5.79 less $1.00 coupon off any Publix milk (I got in the mail from the Publix baby club) = $4.79. If you have a child under two, click here to sign up for the Publix baby club and you’ll get great coupons in the mail, some for free items with no purchase required! If you have a child ages 2-4, click here to sign up for the Publix Preschool Pals club and you’ll get some (not as many as the baby club) coupons in the mail, too.
- (2) Yoplait Kids 4-oz 6 pack yogurt-$2.79 BOGO=$1.39/ea less $.50 coupon from recent, which doubled to $1.00 since Publix doubles couopns up to $.50, so net cost was $.39 per 6-pack! Great deal! If you can print this $1.50 coupon, you’ll get them for free plus $.11 overage, but I had already used my $1.50 coupons previously. You can also print two $1.00 coupons for Yoplait Kids Yogurt on the coupon bar on FunandFrugal.com!
- (1) Publix 1 lb grapes ready to eat package-$1.97 less $1.00 coupon off any fuit salad 1 lb or larger (from Publix baby club in the mail)=$.97
- (1) Beech Nut Let’s Grow 6 oz mac & cheese mini meal on sale for $1.00 less $1.00 coupon from recent insert = FREE!
- (2) Muir Glen 8 oz organic tomato sauce $.89 less printable coupon for $1.00 off any Muir Glen product here and here = FREE plus $.11 overage/ea!
- (1) Publix baby wipes travel pack 12 count $.99 less printable competitor coupon for $1.50 off any Food Lion baby wipes = FREE plus $.51 overage!
- (1) Johnson’s Buddy bathtime soap-$1.09 less coupon for free Johnson’s Buddy bathtime soap (from Publix baby club in the mail) = FREE
- (2) Mueller Spaghetti-$1.29 BOGO=$.64/ea less printable coupon for $.55/2=$.09/ea!
- (4) Kellogg’s Poptarts-$2.19 BOGO=$1.09/ea less printable coupon for $.55 = $.54/ea. (You can print two per computer. The picture on the coupon is for a new Banana Split flavor, but the fine print says valid on any flavor.)
- (4) Betty Crocker deluxe brownie mixes-$2.39 BOGO=$1.19/ea less printable coupon for $.50/2, which doubles to $1.00/2= $.69/ea
