Fun and Frugal

I’ll be posting info about mom’s groups in Cleveland and surrounding areas over the next week or so.  Today’s post is about Heart Touch.  I will be posting about MOPS and Moms Nurturing Moms in the near future.  If you know of another mom group in Cleveland, Athens, or Chattanooga, please send me an email at fun [dot] frugal [at] gmail [dot] com.

Here is some info about Heart Touch, which meets the first Saturday of each month in Cleveland at the Peerless Road Church Tea Room from 9:30-11:30 am.  Click here for a map.  For any questions that aren’t addressed below, please email Monica at mluithle [at] cogop [dot] org.  Heart Touch is for moms of all ages and is free and open to the community.  A love offering is taken to help offset the expenses.  The topic for the meeting Sat. Feb. 7 will be about smart shopping and couponing.

Is Heart Touch for me?

You should come to Heart Touch if . . .

Ì       You have made at least one trip to the maternity ward and survived to tell about it.

Ì       You have launched a child into adolescence and found yourself in unknown territory on more than one occasion!

Ì       Caffeine . . . need we say more?

Ì       You have an imperfect family but seek to know more about a perfect Savior.

Ì       You long for interaction with women who have similar challenges and want to raise children with character, integrity, and joy!

The First Saturday Morning of the Month

9:30 – 11:30 at Peerless Rd Church in the Tea Room.

Come join us as we practice the Titus 2 principle by encouraging and supporting moms through the various seasons of parenting.  Enjoy bible study, discussion led by Titus 2 Moms, and fun, practical mentoring activities.

Childcare is available with a reservation (RSVP is due the Thursday afternoon prior to the meeting).

This year’s programming includes Bible study and discussion on topics as varied as the various facets of being a Christian woman, wife and mother.  Look forward to practical mentoring with topics such as smart shopping to save money, taking pictures to last a lifetime, building a core wardrobe, freezer cooking, going green, from scratch cooking in under 30 minutes, holiday home décor, preparing for Thanksgiving, holiday traditions, dating fun to capture and keep his heart, spring cleaning/conquering clutter, pampering spa day, and make-do decorating ideas.
