This recipe was submitted by Linda Lundy and Carolyn Franke.  I’ve had something similar and it was awesome!  I think the recipe I saw called for Sprite instead of Mountain Dew.

Mountain Dew Apple Cobbler

Granny Smith apples-2 (peeled, cored and cut into 8 sections each)
Crescent rolls-2 cans (1 can does 1 apple)
Real butter- 1 stick (not margarine or substitute)
Sugar-2 cups (can use less)
Mountain Dew- 1 1/2 cups
Wrap each one-eighth section in Crescent roll. Place in lightly greased 9×13 baking dish.
Melt butter and mix with sugar. Spread over apples. Pour Mountain Dew over apples. DO NOT STIR.
Sprinkle with cinnamon and chopped pecans.
Bake uncovered at 350 for 45 minutes.
Can serve with ice cream or whipped cream.
Hope you have a very Merry Christmas! Enjoy!
