Posted on 21 October 2008 by admin   Print Print

Thanks, Dwight, for emailing me and letting me know about this event.  An Evening of Cleveland Mystery & Folklore will be at the Bank of Cleveland downtown on Oct. 27, 28, and 30 from 7-9 pm.  Tickets are $10/adults and $5 for children Kindergarten and up and can be purchased at Bank of Cleveland, Bender Realty, and the Chamber of Commerce.  Proceeds go to The Caring Place and Cleveland Allied Arts Council.  The Cleveland Storytelling Guild will tell stories from Bradley County Ghosts and Other Hauntsby William R. Snell with stories by Mrs. Katherine Trewhitt.  No blood and guts, just history and mystery.  Tours every 12 minutes.  For more information call Dwight or Kelli at 423-472-2173.

Now here’s how you can win a ticket–the first four people to email me with the correct answer to this trivia question will win a free ticket:

Bloodstains on the Mausoleum were inspired by the death of little Nina Craigmiles.  What was the date of her death?

Email your answer to me at fun [dot] frugal [at] gmail [dot] com with the subject line “Mystery Trivia.”  I will notify the winners by email as well as posting it on FunandFrugal.com.  Tickets will need to be picked up from Dwight Richardson at Bender Realty 8:30-5:00 M-F.

CONTEST HAS ENDED.  THE FOUR WINNERS ARE:

  1. Connie Anderson
  2. Alicia Lewallen
  3. Peggy Hathcock
  4. Janis Willhoit
