**Update: If you’re looking for this year’s Halloween Events, check out the Fun and Frugal Calendar at FunandFrugal.com/Calendar.**

Thanks, Stacie, for letting me know about the fall festival at United Christian Academy  at 2200 Peerless Rd behind Wendy’s (former Westwood Baptist Church bldg) on Saturday, Oct. 25 from 3-7 pm.  This is a fund-raising event.  Tickets are $.25 each and it will cost 1-4 tickets for each of the following:

  • pony rides
  • jumpy toys
  • train ride for kids (and adults, too!)
  • petting zoo
  • face painting and hair painting
  • carnival games

There will also be live Christian entertainment, a silent auction, vendor booths, food for sale (hot dogs, nachos, cotton candy, caramel apples, etc.), craft show, and a car show.

You can enter the car show for $10 and the winner of the Kid’s Choice Award will receive $100 cash!  If you’d like a vendor booth for your business, the cost is $30.  To sign up for either of these or for more information, please call United Christian Academy at 478-2500.

Friendly Halloween costumes are optional.
