Fun and Frugal

I appreciate when readers email me tips on fun events and frugal finds.  Here are some recent emails I’ve gotten:

• Crystal emailed to say that Lowe’s is having Customer Appreciation Days right now and are hosting a free lunch Friday, Oct. 24.  It’s aimed at commercial customers, but any customers can participate.
• Summer sent me a link to Black Friday Ads, where you can check all sales papers on this website for Black Friday (day after Thanksgiving) before they come out to see what’s on sale at your favorite stores.
• Summer also reminded me that Michael’s Craft Store will email you coupons and specials if you join their email list.
• Tonya wrote in that she found a great website with all kinds of coupons, deals, tips, and savings called RedPlumb.com.
• Crystal (a different one than above) said to check out freecycle.org.  It’s a non-profit, free-membership program where you can get and give stuff in your local town to help reuse and keep good stuff out of landfills.
