Fun and Frugal

This was a fun trip, but I only had 30 minutes, so I would’ve loved to look around for more deals on the double-coupon promo that ends Sat. Nov. 1.  Here’s what I got tonight:

• American Fare tissues are on sale buy one, get TWO FREE when you use the coupon on the flyer by the doors.  (I came in the outside entrance near the Garden Center.)  You get three for $1.49, but I got them for free since I had overage from the canned goods.
• Hunt’s 8 oz tomato sauce is $.69/can, but I used this $1.00/2 coupon (hit back/refresh to print twice!) I found on Money Saving Mom’s blog and got them for FREE PLUS $.31 overage/each!
• Progresso soup is on sale 3/$4.00, but I used this $1.10/1 coupon (hit back/refresh to print twice!) I found on Money Saving Mom’s blog and got them for FREE PLUS $.86 overage/each!
• The gum was just a filler.  Before I threw the gum in, the cashier owed me $.92 and they won’t give change back on coupons, so I added the $.99 pack of gum and ended up owing $.16 after coupons and tax!
