Hurry to K-Mart! Double-coupons end Sunday, Oct. 5!

I went to K-Mart twice today to rack up on some great savings during their double-coupon promotion this week, which ends tomorrow, Sunday, Oct. 5. I saw at least four other ladies with searching through their stacks of coupons for great deals, too, and we all passed on tips to each other. I learned there is a clearance section in a corner in between the pharmacy and the greeting card section and that there are some beauty booklets at the pharmacy check-out counter you can pick up that contain some good coupons that will get you free and cheap stuff during the double-coupon promo. Several items I was looking for were out of stock (Schick disposable razors, Pampers Kandoo wipes, and others I can’t remember right now), which means a lot of you have already taken advantage of the double-coupon promotion. 
Below is a picture and description of items I got that were noteworthy. Most of my coupons came from various previous Sunday paper inserts, but I noted if they were from another source, such as the K-Mart beauty booklet or if I got them in the mail.

Colgate Max Fresh 5.8 oz toothpaste on clearance for $1.99-free plus overage after $1.50 coupon doubled
Go Lean Crunch-free plus overage after $2.00 coupon doubled (I got in mail for joining Vocal Point)
Lysol Neutra Air sanitizing spray-free plus overage after $2.00 coupon doubled
Glade Carpet & Room Odor Eliminator-$.19/ea after coupon for $1.00 doubled
Sunsilk conditioner-on clearance for $1.74-free plus overage after $1.50 coupon doubled (the bottle is in Spanish! Hope I’m not buying something that will dye my hair! J/K)
Sunsilk Hairapy Waves of Envy Gel & Cream Twist-free after $1.50 coupon doubled
Revlon eyeshadow-free plus overage after $2.00 coupon in K-Mart beauty booklet doubled
Thomas the Train kites-$.50/ea on clearance in toy dept. (Originally $2.50 each.) All summer toys are on clearance and then 50% off the marked-down price!
Don’t forget you can pick up the Sunday edition of the Cleveland Daily Banner Chattanooga Times Free Press at the Dollar Tree on Sunday for only $1.00! I think I may buy one (or more) and go back to K-Mart and see if I can get some more great deals since double coupons is such a rarity in Cleveland!

My Sunday paper has not had coupons in it for 3 weeks- has yours? I called the Banner and they said they do not always get coupons. Today the Chattanooga paper had 3 coupon inserts.

I think you mean the Chattanooga paper when you say you can get it at the Dollar Tree for a $1. The Cleveland paper rarely has coupons.

Tara & Leslie, I meant to say the Chattanooga Times Free Press, not the Cleveland Daily Banner. Yeah, the Banner rarely has coupons. I corrected the name of the paper in my post. Thanks for keeping me on my toes. Hope I didn’t confuse too many other people.
