Fun and Frugal

I just got this email from a Fun and Frugal reader, Cindy.  Please read how you can help.

Myself (Cindy Akins) and Teresa Hyde, team Treeindy will be walking 60 miles in 3 days this coming weekend in Atlanta, Oct. 24-26.  We are walking for breast cancer awareness and to raise money for a cure.   Teresa and I are walking in honor of family and friends that have been affected by cancer.   The walk is this weekend but we have until 11/26/08 to raise the money needed to participate.  We have tried several fundraisers but still need to raise more money and it has been hard with the struggling economy.  If anyone would like to donate, please go to www.the3day.org , click on “donate now,” type in “Team Treeindy” or our names individually.  We would really appreciate everyone’s donation of any amount and support.   You may have read about our team and the walk recently in the Cleveland Daily Banner.
