Fun and Frugal

Everyone is invited to a day of fun, food, and family with games, activities, exhibits, and entertainment at Coolidge Park on Saturday, Oct. 4 from 3-6 pm for the 7th annual Children’s Festival.  Free admission.  (Don’t know about parking costs, though.)  Sponsored by the Coalition Against Domestic and Community Violence of Greater Chattanooga, Inc.  There will be sheriff’s vehicles and fire trucks on site, puppet shows by Kids on the Block, games, face painting, jewelry-making, art contests, and lots more.  Thanks, Tara, for emailing me about this.  For more information call 648-9281 or email connieedge [at] cepsolutions [dot] net.
