If you have a baby, I’d encourage you to sign up for Save-a-Lot’s Baby Club as well as all the other Baby Clubs so that you’ll get free coupons and samples in the mail.
I’ve bought baby food for both my children from Save-a-Lot because it’s the best price, especially when you use coupons. They only carry Beech Nut 2nd stage. They do take manufacturer coupons. Beech Nut will mail you coupons when you mail in Beech Nut UPC labels. I’m pretty sure Save-a-Lot’s price is $.39/jar and I always have coupons for $1 off 10 jars, so that makes it $.29 a jar when I buy in lots of ten. Just to compare, Wal-Mart, Bi-Lo, and Food Lion’s normal price is around $.50/jar
Big Lots also has great prices on Baby Food – if you can find any. They don’t stock it all the time and when they do, the selection is unusual. I bought a lot of Beech Nut jars with Spanish labels before. They are $.25 per jar. They don’t accept manufacturer coupons, but it’s still the best price even without coupons.
