Free Admission at Participating Museums on National Museum Day 9/27

Thanks to The MotherLoad for the tip about National Museum Day coming up this Saturday, Sept. 27.  Click here to download a free admission card valid for Sept. 27 at participating museums.  One admission card per household, but you and a guest can each get in with your admission card.  Click here to search for participating museums across the country.  Unfortunately none are real close to Cleveland, but some might be worth a day trip, such as the American Museum of Science & Energy in Oak Ridge (near Knoxville) and the US Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville, AL.  There are also several in Nashville and Atlanta on the list, too.

I grew up in Oak Ridge and the American Museum of Science and Energy is worth the trip if you want to go! The thing we always enjoyed was putting our hand on the ball that produced so much static electricity that whoever did its hair stood on end all over!
