I went to Kohl’s today to do an even-exchange on some shorts I bought a couple of weeks ago (still with tags on.) But I discovered the ones I bought had been marked down to $3.99 less than what I paid for them, so I asked if I could get a price adjustment. They said as long as it has been within 14 days, and luckily it was day 14 when I was there. So, I got my $3.99 (plus tax) back and then I asked, “Do you mind checking the rest of the items on my receipt from two weeks ago to see if anything else has gotten marked down?” They did and sure enough, one more item had been marked down to $7.60 less than what I paid, so I ended up leaving the store with $11.59 plus tax in my pocket all for asking for price adjustments. I’m sure lots of other retail stores have similar policies, so keep your receipts and ask next time you’re in the store! Does anyone know of other stores that offer price adjustment?
