Thanks, Financial Diva, for this post about free movie rentals! Sign up for weekly email alerts from RedBox, and they’ll email you a code for a free movie rental every Monday good for that day only. Personally, I haven’t rented from RedBox yet so I can’t tell you from experience how it works, but I know there is a RedBox in the lobby at the north Wal-Mart and I believe it costs $1 for a 24-hour rental. Gloria, There is also a Redbox in the lobby of the Southside Walmart. I believe it is on the grocery side. I haven’t used Redbox so I can’t give you a review.

My daughter and son-in-law rented a movie from the Redbox at the Southside Walmart. It was badly scratched and we couldn’t finish it. There is no one/no means of reporting it. It may not be much of a bargain after all unless it is for a movie not watched very much!

We rent from the redbox almost weekly! We’ve had one that was scratched, but there is an 800 number on the machine, which I called, and recieved a reimbursement! They have many kids videos - including the very educational “Word World”! Hope this helps!

I used rebox at Walgreens (Georgetown & Paul Huff) for the first time this weekend and it was great!!!! Loved it. It was easy and rented WaterHorse for the kids. Fast, easy and cheap.
