Sign up for Food Lion’s Shopper Companion and they’ll email you coupons every Wednesday. If you didn’t know you can combine coupons issued from a store with coupons issued by a manufacturer (called “stacking coupons”) for even more savings! You can do this at any store, not just Food Lion. I’ve gotten some pretty good deals with Food Lion’s weekly coupons. For example, a few weeks ago I got some Food Lion brand cereal for $.50 b/c it was on sale for $1.50 and then I used a $1.00 coupon they emailed me, but that deal has expired since their weekly coupons are only valid for a week.
